1. Northern Beaches Art & Crafts Market
The Northern Beaches Art & Crafts Market has been a fixture in the Warringah Region for over 30 years. Held on the first and third Saturday of each month, the market features a variety of stalls selling handmade crafts, jewelry, clothing, toys, and more. It's a great opportunity to pick up unique gifts or simply browse the local offerings. The market is located at Ted Jackson Reserve in Warriewood.

2. Secrets of the Garden
The Australian Botanic Garden in Mount Annan is hosting Secrets of the Garden, an interactive outdoor exhibition that allows visitors to explore the world of insects and other small creatures. The exhibit features giant-sized models of insects, a bug hotel, a butterfly house, and more. Visitors can also take part in a treasure hunt and other educational activities. Secrets of the Garden runs from April 1st to July 31st.

3. Winter Festival
The Winter Festival is an annual event held in the heart of Sydney, just a short drive from the Warringah Region. The festival features outdoor ice skating, an ice slide, a ferris wheel, and other classic winter activities. Visitors can also warm up with hot cocoa, mulled wine, and other seasonal treats. The festival runs from June to July.

4. Whale Watching
Winter is peak whale watching season along the New South Wales coast, and the Warringah Region is no exception. Several companies offer whale watching tours departing from Manly or Palm Beach. Visitors can get up close and personal with humpback whales as they migrate north to warmer waters. Whale watching tours usually run from May to November.

5. Winterfest
The Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney hosts Winterfest, a celebration of all things winter. The festival features an ice rink, a snow pit, ice-skating performances, and other winter-themed activities. Visitors can also warm up with food and drinks from the pop-up winter village. Winterfest runs from late June to late July.

6. Vivid Sydney
Vivid Sydney is Australia's largest festival of light, music, and ideas. For three weeks each May and June, the city is transformed into a stunning canvas of light installations, projections, and music performances. The festival is free to attend and includes several locations in the Warringah Region such as Taronga Zoo and Chatswood.

7. Winter Solstice Market
The Winter Solstice Market is a pop-up market held annually in June at the Avalon Recreation Centre. The market features local handmade crafts, gourmet food, and other winter-themed goods. Live music and a bonfire add to the festive atmosphere. The Winter Solstice Market is a one-day event.
